Sadness it’s waking up in an hotel room, alone, in another city, with some people that claims they’re your family.
Waking up missing troubles and weird things from your home and friends that usually just disturbs you.
Waking up missing someone with who you fight almost every single time, but you cannot leave her, and also she can’t. Waking up knowing that things will never be the same but having a chance for a second time being to afraid that things get worse than last time.
Waking up knowing that tomorrow you’ll be heading home again but tomorrow seems far away.
This is nothing new, but would we kill it all?
The hate was all we had
Who needs another mess, we could start over.
Just look me in the eyes and say I’m wrong
Sura: “The gods came to me last night, in my sleep.”
Spartacus: “What did they show you?”
Sura: “My husband on his knees, bowing before a great red serpent. The life draining from his veins.”
Spartacus: “What meaning did you take from it?”
Sura: “A warning. If you go to war, you are destined for great and unfortunate things.“
